“Communication is the process of conveying information and meaning; True communication takes place only when all parties understands the message/information from the same perspective/ meaning.”(Pg.168 Chpt. 6) With that being said I would assess communication within my organization by always giving oral communication and written communication. To some it may seem excessive but I understand that everyone is different. I do better with written communication so I can always go back and make sure I’m on the right track. I would make it my mission to give out reports of daily task in the morning and follow up with face-to-face meetings to basically have an overview of any unclear instructions. For my written communication report I would write in a active voice and always make a outline using letters numbers and major points I want to get across. And to follow up with my oral face to face I would simply use the “Oral Message Sending Process.
